So it’s 6:15 AM here, and I just snuck into the apartment (not really…but actually) five minutes ago. 

Because the debate. Also because the metro, but let’s not mix topics (I’m not Mitt Romney). 

Way to come out swinging, Obama! He really did an excellent job driving home the difference between him and Romney, proposing solutions, and pointing to facts. Romney spent the debate repeating himself: “I worked in the private sector!” and “I didn’t say that! That’s not what I meant when I said that!” were amongst my favorites. 

Anyway, a bunch of my friends from my program came, too, but we also hung out with other Americans, as well as Europeans who are interested in the elections. 

Then we waited for the metro to open….

But otherwise, a good night.
